Balloon Glow 2024 Stl. The great forest park balloon race kicks off this year on friday, september 20th with the balloon glow, and continues saturday, september 21st with the balloon race. The balloons do not launch during the balloon glow but for a portion of the evening (weather permitting) the rope line will be released, and spectators.
